The Moscow contemporary art gallery Kvartira S presents the VIII<\/strong> Russian-French art<\/strong> <\/strong>project \u201c<\/strong>Les Femmes<\/strong>\u201d<\/strong>. <\/strong>\u00a0\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Woman is one of art\u2019s eternal subjects. Muse and temptress, mother and courtesan\u2026 The image of a woman is an enduring mystery, an intricate and tangled world of subtle feelings and emotions that only true talent can capture. This time, the artists of the Kvartira S gallery project will seek to create an exhibition that fully reveals this complex and therefore all the more compelling subject. The culmination of two weeks of plein-air sessions on the coast of southern France will be a gala vernissage, presenting viewers with an exhibition of vintage and newly created works devoted to Les Femmes.<\/em><\/p>\n

Denis Petrulenkov <\/strong>(Russia)<\/strong><\/p>\n

One of Russia\u2019s most renowned watercolorists. Born into an artist\u2019s family in the city of Vitebsk. He has drawn since early childhood. In 1998 he graduated from the Faculty of Art and Graphics at Smolensk State University. Since 1998 he has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator. He collaborates with leading Russian and international design studios, agencies, and publishing houses. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Works in a variety of techniques and directions. Participant in regional, national, and international exhibitions. Laureate of the watercolor biennale in Belgrade (Serbia) and of many other watercolor competitions. Organizer of International Watercolor Plein-Airs and exhibitions. Teaches drawing and painting.<\/p>\n

Denis\u2019s works are held in galleries and museums around the world. In private collections in Europe, the USA, and China.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Natalia Onufrieva <\/strong>(Russia)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Artist working in acrylic and watercolor. Graduated from the Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute, completed David Kassan\u2019s author portrait course at Craneo Creacion school (Seville), and the Moscow Academic Art School. Has taken part in an art fair in Berlin and other exhibitions. Her works are held in private collections in Russia, America, and Germany.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have always been drawn to the feminine nature, and my works are dedicated to it. Through the combination of the body and ornament I tell the story of each of my heroines \u2014 what captivates them, what fills them, how they live, what they desire. In every one of my paintings lies a story of the modern woman\u2019s journey inward.\u201d<\/p>\n

He teaches drawing and painting.<\/span><\/p>\n
