At Hostellerie La Farandole in Sanary, France, we present Meryl\u2019s solo exhibition, \u201cEscape to Provence,\u201d from 18 August to 22 October 2023. <\/span><\/p>\n

Meryl\u2019s joyful, colorful works celebrate the beauty of the Mediterranean coast and Provence. Bathed in sunlight beneath an azure sky, this land has long inspired artists from around the world. Each of Meryl\u2019s paintings can be likened to a story, or even a poem rich in evocative epithets: seashores in shades of blue, hills alive with contrasts of red ochre and green. This is precisely what we usually wish to bring home \u201cin our luggage\u201d from a holiday and remember on cold winter evenings. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAs a colorist, I present vibrant works depicting beautiful moments and fragments of life, inviting you to \u2018escape\u2019 into this joy and optimism because our world is too often stern and cruel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\"\"<\/a>Meryl works in a variety of visual media. In addition to painting, she creates collages and practices art photography. Most of Meryl\u2019s subjects are devoted to nature.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She has participated in numerous exhibitions, including several solo shows (Salon de printemps Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Artistique de l\u2019Ouest, Parcours des cr\u00e9ateurs de Trentemoult \u00e0 Rez\u00e9, Salon d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 Galerie Grand Val \u00e0 Orvault, among others<\/span><\/i>).<\/p>\n
