Ekaterina Lebedeva<\/a> is a young Moscow artist. Ekaterina on her current state of creativity:<\/p>\n

\u00abNot to fear the new, not to fear experiment, not to fear the unfolding of paint on one\u2019s own canvas. And at the same time \u2014 the opposite: meticulous precision. The precision of every brushstroke, the precision of every movement\u00bb.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

From early childhood Ekaterina has painted vivid, one might say emotional, \"voluminous\" pictures, as if created in a single breath.<\/p>\n

In her works she moves away from clear, concrete forms in pursuit of expression, of conveying her inner state. The artist\u2019s work is characterized by a saturated palette that heightens generalized forms. <\/span><\/p>\n

In Ekaterina\u2019s works refined color solutions combine with complex, often multilayered application techniques and active experiments with material. The artist builds her painterly compositions placing full trust in intuition and imagination.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
