The Moscow contemporary art gallery Kvartira S presents the VIII Russian-French art project “Les Femmes”.
Woman is one of art’s eternal subjects. Muse and temptress, mother and courtesan… The image of a woman is an enduring mystery, an intricate and tangled world of subtle feelings and emotions that only true talent can capture. This time, the artists of the Kvartira S gallery project will seek to create an exhibition that fully reveals this complex and therefore all the more compelling subject. The culmination of two weeks of plein-air sessions on the coast of southern France will be a gala vernissage, presenting viewers with an exhibition of vintage and newly created works devoted to Les Femmes.
The project is supported by the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Marseille.
