Tatyana Timofeeva grew up in a creative family; her sister and father — are artists. She is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. A participant in numerous all-Russian group and solo exhibitions, she is a permanent resident of the Gallery. For a long time Tatyana was devoted to watercolor painting, which has left its mark on her oil-on-canvas works. From her passion for watercolor come the complex textures, the sense of the unfinished, the lightness, and the deliberately left fragments of paint splatters that convey the feeling of the fleeting beauty of an elusive moment. For Tatyana, art — is a way of knowing the world, a chance to share her joy and impressions with the viewer, and to experience moments of happiness together.

For the artist, the sea has always been a reflection of freedom, happiness, and Hope. The good and the sad moments of life take turns, while the sea remains constant. Tatyana says that she fills with hope for the better when she paints the sea. She wants to share this feeling with the viewer. To give them a sense of calm, safety, and hope that everything bad will sooner or later pass.

“When I work, I seem to sink into a saving meditation; this creates balance in my life and art. I want to share these feelings with others”, — Tatyana Timofeeva.
