Gallery Kvartira S announces an Open Call for participation in the group exhibition “POINT OF VIEW”

in the exhibition halls of the ARTPLAY Design Center (Moscow, Kurskaya metro, N. Syromyatnicheskaya 10)

from 01 March to 31 March 2022.

Applications are accepted until 15 February 2022 at expo@kvartiras.com.

The number of participants is limited. Works on the subjects of politics, the epidemiological situation, and the nude are not accepted for the exhibition.

Curator - Sasha Richard.

Every person has at least once in life found themselves in a situation where their point of view did not coincide with the opinion of those around them. They were in such a place that the perspective they beheld differed, one way or another, from that of other observers.

Different points of view have always helped to analyze an event or phenomenon more thoroughly, so as to avoid a subjective, biased assessment and to find a better solution. Within this Open Call we invite artists to present works that reflect their distinctive vision of surrounding objects, events, or phenomena.

The application must include:

• CV (the artist’s portfolio in any form and a brief biography in Word as separate files);

• high-quality photographs of 1-3 finished works, indicating dimensions, materials, year of creation, and price;

• a photograph of the artist in jpeg;

• a description of the proposed works.

Painting, graphic works (framed), photographs, installations, and collages are accepted, from 1 to 3 works per artist. Selection is made by the curator and the gallery team.

To participate, a membership fee must be paid: 6,000 rubles for gallery residents, 10,000 rubles for new participants. The membership fee includes installation services, printing of promotional materials, PR, announcements in the media and on social networks, the opening, and exhibition tours. A contract is concluded with each participant.
