"My central theme is the 'shell'—a construct that dictates modes of visibility and expectation, functioning simultaneously as camouflage, protection, and a statement. My method involves designing and shifting these shell-like modes; in doing so, I demonstrate how a surface governs the interpretation of an essence and controls access to what lies 'within'.
Another key theme is motherhood—exploring the forms of attachment between adult and child, the boundaries of responsibility, and the transformations that occur within these relationships. I view memory as a tool for navigating ancestral and familial ties, a space where I exist as both mother and daughter."
