In the space of the design center Artplay one could view an exhibition of the mesmerizingly realistic works of gallery artist Anastasia Bunina.
A true artist from earliest childhood, Anastasia Bunina received an excellent educational foundation first at the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum of the Russian Academy of Arts (MAHL RAH), then at the Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry, Graphic Arts, and later held several solo exhibitions and took part in group vernissages.
In her works Anastasia portrays the real world — everyday life and the ordinary. Yet she does so in such a way that the viewer inevitably feels a sense of mystical enchantment, mystery, and unreality, as in a dream.
The exhibition “Mystical Realism” by Anastasia Bunina presents classical still lifes that captivate with their play of light and shadow, as well as landscapes that reproduce reality with photographic precision and leave a magical impression on the viewer.
