Anastasia Polyakova

Artist and sculptor. Anastasia was born in 1989. She graduated from the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum of the Russian Academy of Arts and from the British Higher School of Art and Design, Faculty of Theatre Design. She leads master classes and artistic practices and designs theatrical productions. She has taken part in exhibitions and festivals since 2010. “I paint both in the genre of abstraction and in a more realistic manner. In maquettes and three-dimensional works I seek for myself another, new language in the visual arts, so as to think in different forms and work not only in the genre of painting. I studied scenography extensively and worked in the theatre as an artist; from this grows the root of my objects.”
