Renat Semenov

Artist. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2000. Has taken part in all-Russian and regional art exhibitions (among them exhibitions dedicated to the 2000th anniversary of Christianity, the 850th anniversary of Moscow, and others). In 2003, together with his father, Mikhail Mikhailovich Semenov, was awarded a diploma of the Russian Academy of Arts for the series of works "The Creation of the World" and "Metamorphoses", executed in the tapestry technique. Since 1996 has collaborated as an illustrator with print media. Has published a number of poetry collections. Organizes annual thematic exhibitions ("The Bible Through Children's Eyes", "1812", and others). Diploma recipient of the competition "Moscow Through Young Eyes" and of youth creativity exhibitions. Twice won the exhibition-competition "Golden Brush" (Abakan); participant in the All-Russian Competition of Young Artists named after P. M. Tretyakov. His first solo exhibition was held in Beijing in 1995. Painting and graphic works are held in private collections in Russia, Britain, and Germany.
