Anastasia Galitsyna is a professional artist, a graduate of the V. I. Surikov Moscow State Academic Art Institute. A painter and graphic artist, a member of the Union of Artists. A participant in all-Russian and international exhibitions.
“My paintings are portals of encounter with associations and memories fixed in the mind as a feeling of happiness,” – Anastasia Galitsyna.
The artist believes that every person possesses the inner resource needed to sustain them in a difficult hour; one has only to turn inward with hope, holding the focus on the positive.

The works presented in the project and created during quarantine symbolize the hope for freedom of movement, so sorely lacking for everyone at present. On the canvases, the inner dynamics of the human being meet outer resistance and close into a ring. The endless wheels in Anastasia’s works stand for struggle and motion, a reflection of the law of life and of dynamics—and this is the hope of finding within oneself the strength to move toward freedom.
