Artist and industrial designer. She graduated from the Design Institute at the Center for Gifted Children of the North in Khanty-Mansiysk, the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Arts, and the University of Huddersfield in England — all specializing in industrial design / product design. In 2018 Natalie began experimenting with a new medium — epoxy resin — which gave rise to her signature style uniting resin with oil painting. The idea of creating a volumetric water surface with epoxy resin is pioneering in the world of resin art and continues to evolve actively in Natalie’s work.
The works "Weightless Motion" and "Hold the Pleasure" belong to the flagship series "Immersion". Both pieces symbolize every person’s hope, in a stressful situation, of having a simple possibility: to shut out problems, immerse oneself in peace, and reconnect with one’s inner self — which, in the artist’s view, is fostered by the water in her works. The extraordinary properties of water, which clears the mind, washes away negative emotions on an energetic level, grants relaxation of body and soul, and restores the serene sensations of a child in the mother’s womb.
"Through my works I want to give the viewer a pleasant feeling of freshness, relaxation, immersion in their own thoughts, and especially — Hope, Hope in oneself and one’s inner strength, despite the rapidly changing world around us,” says the artist.
