"For us, painting is a way of knowing the world and the truest system of coordinates within it. Our childhood was spent in our father's studio, among the aromas of coffee and oil paint and to the sounds of jazz. These memories have inspired us for so many years. What is unique is that they are shared by both of us. And that is what keeps us in a creative tandem. Indispensable for us has always been, and remains, inspiration drawn from Nature. We are not conceptualists; the concerns of contemporary art are not our element. Rather, this is our own vision, the creation of our own space".
Maria Timofeeva
Graphic artist, member of the International Association of Art under UNESCO (Union of Artists of Russia). Participant in regional, all-Russian, and international exhibitions.
Works in a mixed technique of oil monotype and oil pastel. Born into the family of watercolor artist V.V. Timofeev. Received her professional education in the studio of People's Artist of Russia V.G. Kharlov, at the Art School (Vyatka), and at the Academy of Printing (Moscow). In 2017 awarded the medal "Best Teacher of the Year" among educational institutions of the Moscow Region of the Russian Federation in the category of painting instructor.
Tatiana Timofeeva
Graphic artist, watercolorist. Member of the International Association of Art under UNESCO (Union of Artists of Russia). Born into the family of watercolor artist V.V. Timofeev. Received her professional education at the Art School (Vyatka) and the Pedagogical University (Cherepovets). Participant in regional, all-Russian, and international exhibitions.
