This experimental exhibition explores the interplay between the nude female body and the fragile beauty of flowers. The sfumato technique, familiar to us from the paintings of Leonardo da Vinci, transforms Elena Serebryakova’s photographs into more than mere impressions of reality: both women and flowers reveal their essence through half-tones and barely perceptible allusions.
"Is it possible to see a woman through the eyes of flowers? I try to answer this question in my photographs. I want to capture the elusive feminine essence concealed from the ordinary eye. The palette of femininity, the aroma of sensuality... My works are an attempt to create a stirring image of womanhood. I photograph not only professional models, but also women whom I find compelling. My aim is to reveal their hidden beauty through the prism of flowers".
The grand opening of the photography exhibition will take place on August 24 at 19:00.
