Montmartre is one of Paris’s most picturesque, romantic, and atmospheric quarters. Here, people drink fine wine, talk about art, discuss emerging artists, dream of love, and welcome the spring.
In the L'apartement showroom, we have created our own Montmartre to introduce you to the work of Kvartira S gallery artists Oksana Nazarova, Justone, Olga Mashkina, and Tatiana Zavyalova-Kashkovskaya.
Despite their differing creative approaches, the featured artists share a desire for self-expression and self-discovery. Olga Mashkina’s expressive painting—vivid, emotional, yet deeply contemplative—is a young artist’s revelation and a personal dialogue with the viewer. Tatiana Zavyalova-Kashkovskaya’s miniature canvases are spirited yet romantic works, created in a single breath.
The abstract compositions of Oksana Nazarova and the minimalist works of Justone, whose spaces can be viewed in terms of rhythm, balance, and the power of colour, invite the viewer to discover one of the defining qualities of non-objective art: the wealth of associations it evokes in the beholder.
On the opening day, 27 February, a private Simple Night Out wine party was held. Guests were treated to a journey into the world of Italian sparkling wines from the Canti brand, complete with a tasting and a lecture by a Simple expert entitled “Wine Accessories and Glassware.”
