The exhibition “Pure Sensations 2.0” was held for the second year and offered a chance to see new paintings created under the sign of abstraction by contemporary artists of the Kvartira S gallery, and to grasp for oneself one of the essential qualities of non-objective art — the richness of its associative perception for the viewer.

This time, four distinct artists working in different styles and techniques shared their pure sensations with the audience:

Maxim Krasnitsky

Calls himself “a Moscow alcoholic and an old partygoer.” Experiments with techniques, finding a balance between laconic form and expressiveness. Works on different surfaces: paper, canvas, metallized materials. A frequent participant in exhibitions, auctions, and projects in Russia and abroad. His works are held in private collections and galleries.

Maria Subbotina

Works primarily in oil and acrylic in the styles of symbolism and abstraction. Has taken part in several Moscow exhibitions and various art markets. Has held two solo exhibitions. Her works are held in private collections in Moscow and Bali. Member of the Moscow Designers Union.

 Marianna Yakovleva

Works in abstract painting and drawing, clothing print design, and textile design.
Graduated from the Stroganov Moscow State University of Arts and Industry, Textile Design department.
Winner and laureate of competitions, participant in many exhibitions; has held a solo exhibition in Serbia.

Justone

For more than 10 years he has worked in painting, drawing, and photography. He experiments with non-objective abstraction in MixMedia technique. He works across different surfaces: canvas, plywood, and digital art. In his practice he creates minimalist works whose space can be read in terms of rhythm, balance, and the power of color. He has taken part in group exhibitions in Russia and the United States. Many of his works are held in private collections both at home and abroad.
