Ekaterina Lebedeva is a fashionable Moscow artist. Since early childhood, Ekaterina has created emotional, richly textured paintings, produced in a single burst of inspiration. In her work, she moves away from clear, concrete forms in pursuit of expression and the articulation of her inner state. Her art is distinguished by a rich palette that accentuates its generalised forms.
Ekaterina Lebedeva's large-scale, vivid, expressive works are held in collections in Japan, Belgium, France, Serbia, Russia, and the United States.
The Bloom exhibition brings together the most powerful works created by the artist over the past ten years.
As part of the exhibition, an art installation by Ekaterina Lebedeva is displayed on the first floor of the Market building, while an Instagram photo competition is being held under the hashtag #жартворчества. The prize draw will take place on 26 October.
