Olga Mashkina is a young and distinctive artist working in the field of naïve art. She graduated from the Faculty of Art at Kursk State University with a degree in Graphic Design and from the British Higher School of Art and Design with a degree in Visual Communication. Since 2012, she has worked as an illustrator and designer at the Ostrov Svobody branding agency. She has participated in exhibitions of young artists at the Central House of Artists in Moscow, group exhibitions, and an international exhibition project in France.
Beloved by many for her vivid, joyful view of the world and the lightness and originality of her imagery and landscapes, Olga presented at the “Sikvaruli” exhibition—a title that means “love” in Georgian—a series of works devoted to Georgia. Most of the series was created en plein air and inspired by her many journeys to the cities of this picturesque country.
