About the Works in the Exhibition
The “Colors of Montenegro” series -
a homage to a beautiful place.
The Bay of Kotor, the largest bay in the Adriatic Sea, encircled by a belt of mountains like a garland. Vivid, rainbow colors burst forth from a frozen stone moment of history.
The “Black Mountains” take on color.
“Mimosa Festival” A vivid celebration dedicated to the first blossoming, held in the city of Herceg-Novi in Montenegro. Yellow, fluffy little suns upon the blue carpet of sky, sea, and mountains. The tender breath of spring, its first rays.
The “Green” triptych.
The deep, life-giving color of water, foliage, and moss underscores the particular beauty of this place.
“Good Morning”
“Where To Today?”
The harbor in the city of Budva, sailing boats and yachts moored along these shores.
Morning is my favorite time of day. As I am an “early bird,” my morning begins early. With a contemplative gaze I watch everything around me awaken, true serenity painted in fresh turquoise, pink, and tender yellow.
A weightless, translucent, yet already palpable joy of a new journey.
