On September 10, Moscow City Day, interactive events took place at the exhibitions of Gallery "Kvartira S" in the ARTPLAY Design Center. At the KLAZKI exhibition "Squirrel Johan Among Us" a grand draw was held for a gift certificate from the deliciously good and wickedly interesting restaurant "Monster Hills": among 400 visitors to the exhibition we chose a lucky winner who would go for lunch at this wonderful place.

Then, in the Klazki exposition, a master class by the artist was held with the support of the company Manders, accompanied by music from Horo Band member Yaroslav Makarov. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped create a festive atmosphere!

Professional easels, canvases, brushes, palettes and, of course, paints from our partner — Manders company — aroused genuine interest among every visitor without exception. Over the course of the day several paintings were created, among them sensual portraits, humorous sketches, a reportage drawing, office studies, as well as wonderful fantasies by young and elderly, professional and completely inexperienced authors.

Alongside the artist himself, our musician also served as a source of inspiration — Horo Band member Yaroslav Makarov — whose guitar and harmonica playing suited as perfectly as possible such an engaging activity as "trying the brush."
All participants in this colorful event received as a gift from the gallery sweet nuts to fuel the brain and a personalized squirrel.

Meanwhile, at the exhibition of paintings by Daria Vorobyova at the CURATIONS Limited showroom in ARTPLAY, art historian and tour guide Anastasia Chernyshova gave a lecture entitled “Moscow with a Quirk: Unusual Buildings and Monuments.”
