The President Hotel complex, in partnership with the Kvartira S Contemporary Art Gallery, the Assemblée Federation, and the Association of Russian Culture of the City of Strasbourg, cordially invite you to the opening of the first stage of the international project Space as Art and the gastronomic dinner “The Tastes of Russia.” The menu will feature dishes specially created by chefs, prepared exclusively from regional produce.

Programme:
 
  • presentation of ceremonial events marking the anniversary — the 60th anniversary of the first flight into space;
  • exhibition of works by contemporary artists “Space in Art”;
  • musical accompaniment — “Cosmic Sonata” — pianist, vocalist, and composer Evgeny Kalachev. Evgeny, a student of the classical pianist Mitya Shostakovich, is known as a creator of neoclassical piano works in the “indie piano” style.

Dinner programme:

  • Special menu by Semyon Zharkikh — chef of the Assemblée restaurant
  • Dishes prepared exclusively from Russian produce;
  • The finest examples of national wines.

Dinner menu:

1) Microscopic “Bukhanka” bread with courgette caviar in a tube;

2) Duck pâté with caviar of Kuban red wine and mustard sauce;

3) Molecular pasta of Krasnodar beetroot with sturgeon and black caviar;

4)Baked cheese in a jar with raspberry sauce;

5) Rabbit roulade with purple potato purée and morel sauce;

6) Chocolate planet of the Solar System with blackcurrant mousse and orange sauce.
