Anastasia Zakharova is an artist, designer, and avid traveler.
The watercolor project “Another Planet” grew out of impressions from a journey to remarkable Iceland. The sensations of that trip—incredibly vivid, varied, and far beyond any expectations—became the foundation for a series of watercolors that at first served as a kind of artistic acclimatization and then developed into a full-fledged project.
It comprises about 30 watercolor works, from small pieces to large-scale ones, local stories, and art objects created specially for the exhibition.
“This project is not only a wish to tell and share everything I saw with my own eyes, but also, slowly and meticulously, through artistic means of expression, to live through that time in Iceland once more.”
